Today I would like to introduce you to a very new online quilt shop, and one of my sponsors, Quilting in the Rain. Quilting in the Rain is run by Jera, a self-acknowledged fabri-holic from Seattle (hence the quilting in the rain). Jera has been blogging for some time at her Quilting in the Rain Blog where she has loads of tutorials.
The Quilting in the Rain shop is a spin-off of Jera's blog and love for quick, easy projects. Jera is one busy lady - working full-time and expecting her first baby in the coming weeks!! For this reason, Jera loves working with pre-cut fabric collections (who doesn't?) and as a result Quilting in the Rain focuses on selling pre-cuts (charm packs, layer cakes, jelly rolls, etc. )and patterns designed specifically for working with pre-cuts. Hence her tagline, "Cut less, Sew more."
She has a great collection of some of the most recent pre-cut selections, including a couple of new favorites for me: Walk in the Woods, Half Moon Modern, and Urban Cowgirl.
